It is a simile -- it uses the words "like" or "as" to create a comparison between two unrelated things.

It's a simile, because it's a comparison and uses "like." I'd re-structure the sentence though--How about "I am like a T.V because I enjoy entertaining people"?
Similes are comparisons that use the words "like" or "as." Metaphors are comparisons that do not use those words--they just state that something _is_ something else. Ex: The cold wind was a knife cutting through my lungs.
Poems often use metaphors and similes, but are longer and structurally different than what you have provided.

Simile- evaluating employing "like" or "as" --as enormous as a house Symbolism- employing a component to symbolize yet another component -- Alliteration- repeating consinent sounds --Harry's hippo hops luckily Personification- giving human features to nonhumans --the solar poked me in the attention with its enormous vivid finger Metaphor- evaluating via saying a component IS some thing else --i'm the Walrus, coo coo kachoo Hyperbole- exaggeration --it quite is a million stages outdoors Imagery- descrbing a component to the component the place you may visualize it --

It is a simile, comparing two things by using the words like or as. It is a literary device used by poets, such as, "My love is like a red red rose."

The first answer is correct. If you said "I am a tv", you would have a metaphor.
