I didn't watch it - hubby was watching the Ray Martin one that aired here in Australia and I saw a few bits but overall it felt badly contrived - I think the family are in mourning but it's just too soon for interviews. It felt too intrusive for the Irwins. That said, having not lost my spouse, I couldn't say if that's what I'd want or not want. We all deal with grief in different ways and I guess she did what was comfortable.
I just hope that despite some of the dumb things Steve Irwin has done (the baby thing probably the most famous), he is remembered for his conservation efforts and that the good work he's done doesn't end up wasted as a result.

Didn't like Barbara Walters interview style. I think Terry Irwin deserved a better interview. Walters brings out to much negative feeling, Always making you think there is something wrong or that she is about to reveal some dark secret.

It was devastating to watch, terry is such a strong woman and is keeping herself together considerably well. My heart goes out to the Irwin family and the fans. He was a legend, and Bindi will sure make the show go on!
I myself was a wreck watching it as well, Barbara Walters is such a awesome correspondent.
Long Live Steve Irwin!

I dont think I can cry anymore tonight. My eyes hurt. I believe they had a love that so many of us dream of ( I have a great love) but the fact that he was such a great person and a wildlife warrior makes it all the harder.
I feel that the work will Lag, I know it won't but I still have this nagging voice that says do something!
If anything I think Steve has shown all of us, to grab life , have fun with it, just dont let it pass you by!

It was so sad, but I loved to hear Terri's thoughts on Steve's death. They were so in love, and I admire the strength she has for their children. Keep the Irwins in your prayers and thoughts!

I wonder how Barbara Walters could keep such a straight face? All I saw was a short clip of the interview and I cried like a baby. (yes, I know, we men aren't supposed to cry)

I cried. I've always loved Steve Irwin, and it was extremely sad to watch that. His family is so strong though. His daughter Bindi is one amazing kid.
