how do I unlock my cingular phone that is saying smartchip rejected?

OK, I entered the wrong code to many times and that is why it is happening and they charge to fix it. Just to enter a little code they charge.

Your carrier is probably the only source of a PUK code

I can't find any on-line PUK code generators , But someone else may know of one ?

As others have suggested, Ebay or you could a million) purchase an unlocked telephone direct from manufacturers like Motorola or Nokia 2) purchase a Cingular telephone at finished fee by a Cingular company save. that isn't renew your settlement and you'd be waiting to call Cingular and request the unencumber code, it is going to take approximately 5 days to recieve by skill of e mail. Try another sim. The one you have may have been damaged. Take it into a cingular owned store and have one of the sales folks put their sim into your phone and verify the phone works.
