Teaching, Editing and eventually Writing, Journalism, and, as mentioned, if you wanted to go to Grad School, Law is a good choice with an English Undergrad Major (I'm a lawyer).

A degree in English is usually favored by law schools. They like you to be able to read and interpret information effectively, a skill best taught in the English courses of colleges/universities. Of course, you can always be an English teacher as well. :)

I would go into business. I was an English major, and I am now in publishing. I don't recommend my field because the pay is terrible! In fact I am trying to find ways to supplement my income.

Obviously a English teacher. Although other jobs include journalist, free lance writer, poet and things similar to that nature....good luck
