Well, you should be thankful that you have a voice. Your mumbling could be because you are nervous when people tried to say "what" & "huh" and your tongue will be tied so the mumbling will come. You just try to take a deep breath and repeat what you have said to them slower and clearer. I am sure they will appreciate it more instead of you mumbling and keeping quiet. Or maybe you can try to imitate what those fancy actresses in movies do if you are so envious of their speech.... Good luck to you!!!!!!!!!!!

Put on a great outfit, one that can go with a nice pair of heels. Put your hair up, and put on some earrings that dangle. What does this have to do with anything? Everyone knows that looking great cause people to be bold.
The next thing you must do is learn not to speak slower, but to project your voice. Speaking is not that much different from singing; they both utilize the stomach and never the throat. Learn to tape yourself reading a few lines from a book or of a poem.

I wish I knew, I get the same thing all the time. People think I mumble and talk too fast. It's actually harder for me to talk slower to people because I stumble over it or just plain forget what I was going to say before it gets out. I try to talk loud but my voice annoys me so much I just hate to. People just tell me to enunciate more, I guess it takes practice.

Hey, I do that too, just talk. If they don't hear you say 'never mind' unless its very important. Make sure when you talk you are seperating your lips properly, and your tounge isn't lolling around in your mouth or something. You also have yto remember that the less breath you put in your speech, the quieter you'll be. Hope this helps!

There are some really good voice tapes available on Amazon.com. Look for ones that develop your voice for singing and that help you work on strengthening your diaphram.
Practice everyday so you can retrain your lungs, diaphram and vocal cords. You can do it. Just stick with it.
good luck!

They have classes for that sort of thing. Those talking heads on the TV weren't born sounding like that.
