Why not make all Indian reservations legalized drug zones based on the asker's logic?

That isn't practical. That would be a mad house, there would be no way to control that many drug users, and who would mandate that? Would you want your loved one to work there? Drugs are wrong and giving them to them definitely isn't the answer.

And would the sexes be separate because god forbid children being born into that place... The practical answer is for everyone to join together and take action against the problem rather then push it into a prison system free of laws and full of free drugs.

We have to fix the problem. I am not claiming to have the answer but I know that isn't it.

That would be very costly. It already costs us a huge percentage of our tax money to keep all the drug offenders in prison. As a matter of fact because of all these heinous criminals, we don't have enough room to keep murders and rapists in prison. I think a more logical solution would be to let all the drug offenders out of prison, and don't put anymore in. We would save huge money on prisons, more on law enforcement trying to catch people with it and we'd have room for the murderers and rapists.

um, no, that wouldn't be good. there are always drug addicts who get better; and you never know who those people are. crackland, methmania? these would also just reinforce that the US is a drug-related, crime-ridden, horrible, sex party. i guess it's okay to pay taxes for people who go to jail for crack, if that's what you mean. and anyway, wouldn't there be an increase in taxes for crackland and methmania? mass-producing drugs, providing shelter and stuff - basicaly the same as jail; just rewarding them for what they've done wrong. bad logic.

That sounds like the George Carlin stand up act on the four prisons that he proposed (this druggie one, the gang banger one, the rapist one, and the masochist one) including which ones had doors that opened to the other areas periodically. Look for it on the web - it carries this idea even further than you have here.

Why don't we just let adults make decisions for themselves. If someone wants to inject a drug into their system why should be care. As long as they don't hurt anyone else, we shouldn't get involved.

And remember if drugs were legal they would be available at every corner store just like cigarettes and alcahol. And you don't see a lot of murdering each other to get to those.

that's good eventually they would kill each other because they will have nothing to steal and no ones life to **** up because they are with their kind and they get bored easily and they would lose their minds and war of the drug addicts is on. something will have to be done about them procreating though that's not fair to babies to be born into hell.

That would be condoning/allowing it. How could you justify arresting someone on the street for posession when the government is providing drugs to people in prison. NO

Also, drugs cause severe health problems and often kill. Taxpayers would be stuck with the bill for health care and it would be unconsciencable to help them kill themselves with drugs. NO

You have to start at a very young age teaching kid that drugs are POISON!

I think more people would try to get sent to prison if you did that.
