Here are some things you can do that work for me since I had to go back to work and my supply dropped:
1. Eat oatmeal at least once a day ( it works)
2. Drink lots of water
3. Have skin-on-skin time when nursing
4. Have a nursing holiday if possible (just baby and you handing out together and nursing a few hours,or more, on weekend)
5.Offer to nurse even if baby is not hungry
There are more things you can do, see my source below. Good luck.

Don't do acohol! It really doesn't help with milk supply, that is a myth and not true. The warm was cloths help as does a shower but that can get a bit messy.
I tried an herb call fenugreek. It really worked for me. I didn't want to go on a medicine if I could do it an all natural way. The only side effect my doctor said is your sweat could end up smelling like maple syrup (didn't happen to me but doesn't sound too bad)!
Try the links below, one is on fenugreek and nursing and the other on alcohol and nursing.
Good luck and keep feeding and pumping, that will help too.

On the area where I come from, nursing mother use Daun Katuk or Memata (Sauropus androgynus) to increase breastmilk production. This happened because there are a lot of mothers who live in isolated village with no other choice but breastfeeding or cowmilk.
This herb can also be used to fight obesity.
Unfortunately, if you use it in excess, there are some side effect such as exhaustion, coughing, and difficulties breathing. Therefore, if you ever consume this her, you should not drink it more than once a week.
Other than Daun Katuk, Euphorbia pulcherrima (Poinsetia/Mexican Flame Leaf) can also be used to produce more breastmilk. However, I would consult your doctor before starting to use these herbs.
Check the herbal/organic store in your area.

If you've tried all of the non-medicinal methods; rest, massaging your breasts, warm cloths, water and lots of breastfeeding, there is a drug your dr. can prescribe called domperidone or motilium. It actually will help. They will try to keep you on it but once your milk is up you can wean yourself off of it with no trouble and your milk will stay.
Oh and be cautious about the alcohol, studies have shown that while babies like the taste of breastmilk when a mother has had a beer, they will actually drink LESS milk, which is NOT what you need! Alcohol only helps letdown, not the amount you produce.
Good luck, it can take a while, but it will work if you are persistent.

There is an herb called fenugreek that helped me out when I was trying to increase my milk supply. My ob, the local la leche league leader and my daughter's pediatrician okay'd it. I found it at a general vitamin store and it did work. The only drawback is that it makes your sweat smell like maple syrup...I felt like a pancake for a few days. After your supply speeds up, you can stop taking it. Worked for me!
Check out this site and good luck!

First and foremost, make sure you're staying well hydrated. Plenty of water!
Other supply increasers: Oatmeal, oddly enough. Not the flavored-packet instant kind -- real oatmeal, although it works just as well in cookies as it does in a cereal bowl. Traditional Medicinals and Yogi Tea both make galactagogue teas and are pretty easy to find. I've seen both brands in Stop & Shop in the organics/health food section. Fenugreek capsules also help. (You know you've taken enough when your pee smells like maple syrup. Weird but true.)

Drink lots of water, your water intake will help increase milk, if your milk needs more strength, stay away from coffee, and tea, take your vitamins. Exercise you breast muscles. By tightening them up, your flow will increase. Drink water, lots of water, triple your intake now, your giving out more. Its just comon since.

When I was nursing, the emphasis was on water consumption, and proper nutrition, for milk production. Eight glasses a day minimum, and it helps to sip it while you're nursing.
