I have laptop with Windows XP. Newtie. BE specific!

when you insert you external memory, windows recognize it as a portable hard disk, AS A HARD DRIVE so, just go to "my computer" and open the new device drive, then just copy the file to there :)

1. Plug in the thumbdrive to your usb port
2. A pop-up should appear. Choose "open folder"
3. Right-click on the file that you want, choose copy.
4. go to your desktop, right-click on the empty space and choose paste.

to send the document,
1. open your email program eg microsoft outlook.
2. drag the file from the desktop to microsoft outlook.
3. type in email address and click on send button.
