Jack up your car and spin the wheel by hand. And listen and feel. You'll know if it's coming from the brakes or the bearings. Take it to a shop for the bearing. Sometimes they are pressed in. And even if they are normal bearings the race in your rotors or drums will need to be replaced with the bearing. Unless you know what your doing you can mess something up and cause bearing failure. Which would not be good at 65mph!

It sounds like the brake caliper rubbing down to the last bits of pad.
Did you hear a mild squeak at first?
it's a safety thing, that squeak is the brake pad telling you it needs to be replaced.
If you are now hearing a grinding sound? it may be that the pad is tearing the hell out of the rotor, (what the pad rests against).
Get them brakes looked at, or you may have to replace the rotor and that's about $400.00.
Hope I helped,
larry

It very well could be a wheel bearing, or a brake pad dragging but that should stop with applied pressure.

It is most likey the strike plate on your disk brakes. The sound will go away if you either change the brakes or wait long enough for it to brake off then rub metal on metal to your rotor. I would suggest changing your brakes.

Start with your brakes and if they appear to be fine check your ball bearings, they are easy to replace and not very expensive
