we spend around 200 dollars. We are a family of four with one in diapers and on formula. Sometimes we spend upwards of 300 dollars. Just wondering how much other people spend and if we are being excessive.

family of five- two toddlers in pullups
and an eight year old in a growth spurt
not to mention the piggy hubby that has a snack before his before meal snack and a snack chaser after that
and the bills been running at roughly three hundred per week
but we could more cost concious- we just arent
i love the farmers market
and the kosher deli
and the whole foods store
and specialty cuts of meat
and imported wine
and good, quality baking ingredients
its alot, i know- but its better than eating out all the time

We are a family of 5 and we spend about $180 every two weeks and miscellaneous trips during the middle of the week for necessary items that didn't get bought during the shopping trip. Yeah, I suppose we are spending about $300. Unbelievable. I say we do a one day boycott like someone suggested for the gas stations. Hahahaha

We are a family of three and we spend about 80 dollars a week but this is because we ea out a lot. soemtimes it is easier to get something after work and football practice than to go make something especially when my husband works late. so if i were to cook like i should then maybe i think u spend about the average amount

That does not sound unreasonable. I work in a grocery store, and I live alone. I can spend $50/$100 a week just on me and my cat.

150-200 every 2 weeks, but we are a family of three, and the 3rd is a newborn, so I expect the grocery bill to go up.
