There were 2 different Supermarket Sweep shows that I know of. One was in the 60's hosted by Bill Malone and the other more current one ran from 1990 - 2003 and was hosted by David Ruprecht. I just loved it when they had the final and they would race around the store throwing heavy turkeys and things in their carts for big points. Then when they got to the register it didn't add up to all that much. My favorite part was trying to figure out the clues when they would know the answer but not be able to find the item in the store. Now that's frustrating.

They do still have re-runs of the newer one on Pax but I'm not sure exactly when, but it wasn't that long ago that I saw it.

Yes I remember that show. I watched it all the time.
The host was a little annoying sometimes... It's time to play Supermarket Sweep. At least I think that's how it was it has been awhile since I've seen it. That was the easiest show to be on.

I remember that, what a trip running through the store throwing everything you can into your basket within a minute. I think it was on PAX or something, but I haven't seen it in a long time now.

Oh, yeahhhh!!!...

My mom and I tried out for it in May 2001, but unfortunately we WEREN'T called back!!!...

The most recent version aired on the Paxson TV network(here in L.A., it was KPXN-30) for almost three years...

Unfortunately, due to the Paxson Network changing its name to the "I' Network(as in "Independent TV"), it was cancelled...

Who knows when it will ever return???

Maybe FremantleMedia North America(which took over the remnants of the old Goodson-Todman Productions in the late 1980s) will resurrect soon...let's hope so...

I loved that show too. I could catch it every once in a while on one of the cable channels. I haven't seen it in a longtime though.

I love that show!! It was on PAX for awhile so you may want to check local cable for reruns. Good family show!
