Ahh! lol i feel sorry for you- when i was babysitting my sister's leopard gecko for a week I bought some crickets for it-------------- about 3 escaped and drove me crazy for a few nights (not to mention freak me out haha)
This website has a good solution of putting those sticky boards on the floor.......

drown the thing! spray it all around the base boards. cool the house down and it will get cold and die or wait a week and it will die leaving 100s

Get a jar with some honey in it.. hopefully it will jump in and get stuck....
