Yes. flash drives are plug and play devices. It's usb 2.0 but it's backwards compatible with usb 1.1 ports. It will just run a little bit slower than usual. Remember, usb 2.0 is 4 times faster than usb 1.1.

You may have to download a driver for it. If you don't have a port, you can buy a card for less than $29, Some flash drives come with an install cd. Read the instructions carefully. Usually the cheaper ones come with the most help.

well it doesnt need versions all it needs is port for the usb...so if ur computer has it obviously it will work....
