Because of one word: Media. I am so tired of all the stuff on TV showing hardly covered women and girls. No one really looks like that, at least anyone normal. I have a bad self esteem problem myself. Magazines, websites and TV make women and girls feel less than womanly if they are overweight or not like what their men are watching. If you were put in a room with a perfect model, no offense, but who would people be looking at? The media have ruined this for all women.

Because they see thin, blue eyed, blonde hair models on tv. The media shows women what the "real" ideal image of what a woman is supposed to look like. We should be ourselves and be happy with what we have. Each individual is unique so we shouldn't try to change ourselves to feel beautiful because it doesn't work.

because they are caught up with the Hollywood definition of looking good so they strive to look like the people on TV. which is really unhealthy.
look in the mirrow and everyday thing of one thing positive about yourself and write it down, eventually you will have a journal full of thing good about yourself and people will start to see the real you.

They b thinkin that all tha celebz b perfect but in real lyfe they need trainer n nutrietains. The magazines alwayz b sayin b this b that its just dope and if u dont lyk yo body y r u eatin???.........................come up with an answer....?didnt think so!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i think they really hope they are wearing the right outfit, if their hair is right. probably trying to impress someone...probably a guy. i think you would be able to sense if something was wrong.
