does anyone have any ideas for an 8th grade science project!? i need help! =(

When I was in jr. high I did a tornado of fire. It's not something that can be done overnight. Possibly in a day if you have access to the supplies. It's pretty easy to set up. When i was in 8th grade i did a project on the solar system i made a pastor and put pic of all the dif. plants and i also wrote a report on the dif. effects the world today has on the solar system. I hope you do good on your project good luck.

Both of these involve petri dishes:

Find out which of your classes is the dirtiest. Place a (labeled) petri dish in each room, then count the bacteria colonies and mold spores at the end of the week. Which has the most? The least? Which colonies/spores seem to be common?

Find out wish soap is most effective. Wash your hands with various brands and types of soap and see which leaves the least amount of dirt and stuff on a petri dish.

a science fair project? hmm...plants are always good...put plants in different kinds of soil, like fertilized soil, regular dirt, and sand, and measure them every day. see which soil works best...like i said its pretty easy if thats the route you wanted to take

Use double sided mirror glass. on one side, have a flashlight, on the other somehow make it dark. hope this helps!!
