i have small eyes cause i am asian. i hate it because when ever i wear eyeliner it gets smudged a lot. it gets under my eyes and it looks messy and gross. whats the best eyeliner to prevent this or what can i do ?

I use Loreal eyeliner. I also put my base makeup right under my eyes and put powder on my eyes. That makes the makeup stay on better.

CoverGirl Outlast Smoothwear Eyeliner is the best. It's long lasting, it looks great, and goes on so easily. Unlike, a lot of other eyeliners that hard to get on and stay on.
P.S. For an open-eyed look, and to make your eyes *pop* use white eyeliner.

Use a gel eyeliner along your uppler lid and outer lower lid (I recommend MAC or Stila) with a very fine brush so that you can control the amount of product you apply.
Do not use eye liner on the inner rim of your eyes as they will appear smaller.
Try using a shimmery nude eyeshadow all over the top lid prior to applying the eye liner.

I'm Asian too and I think picking the right eyeliner is very crucial to minimize smudging. I personally love MAC's Fluidlines and Liquidlast liners. Here's a list of eyeliner reviews that I wrote:

I'd advise you to put it on in a thin line, probably with a pencil (A quality brand like MAC or Sephora) instead of liquid eyeliner...if this doesnt work, using mascara only will open up your eyes as well

Eyeliners water proof are the best, and if you are asian the best thing would be to use it on the upper part of the eye not under , by doing this will give an image of a bigger eyes and smile bye bye

Loriel, definitly. Also, you can put cover up under your eyes, it works better, keeps it there. And if it still smudges just wipe right under your eyes where the smudge would be. Hope this helps!

loreil and if you have small eyes and want them to look bigger, instead of putting the eyeliner on the inside part, try putting it on your lash line.

Agree with above answer...use base and powder, lots of powder before applying your eyeliner....question: do you wear it on your eyelid or along your bottom lash line?
