Hi,
Here is the best solution. Make a paste of sprouted Methi (Fenugreek seed). You can add some water to it while making the paste. Apply it over the scalp and keep it for at least 30 minutes. Repeat the process 3 times in a week. It is the best treatment I have ever experienced. Wash with any good shampoo.

I took those from the GrannyMed website,
try these home remedies:
-Smear honey on the peeling area, massage gently, and leave for 45 minuets then wash. Repeat every day for 2 weeks or until dandruff is gone.
-Massage hair with pure coconut oil daily.
-Mix 2 tablespoons of fresh apple juice to 2 tablespoons of warm water, apply on hair, rub, leave for 10 minutes and wash off. Repeat 2-3 times a week.
-Rub olive oil into scalp, leave for 5-10 hours and wash off.
And there are a lot more home remedies at:

apply lemon juice extract on the scalps twice a week and/also take hair bath atleast two days once with quality shampoo. Do this for two or three weeks, dandruff will go off...
always keep your hair and scalp free from dust and pollution, by taking hair bath with quality shampoo thrice a week, dandruff will never come.

Shave your head bald then use oils. Or you can try a dandruff shampoo followed up with a good conditioner and rinsed very well.

I get the same problem with the weather turns. I used to use Mayo...real mayo not mircle whip to soak my roots. Something about the oils that seems to help with the severly dry scalp...and it makes your hair really shiny.
However, since having children...no time for this so I now used Selson blue dry scalp formula. Smells horrible, but it helps.

i have always found baby oil to work the best
saturate your head with it and wear like a swim cap leave it on as long as you can preferably overnight and then wash your hair as normal
also try using a baby shampoo sometimes its all the shampoos we use and well even though were grown you still might have sensitivity in areas like on your head
good luck
