Unless these friends are married, than it is difficult because single friends are able to do things you no longer can do. Such as going out alot. Going home late. You get my drift.

It really isn't. However, keep in mind that after you are married, you most likely do not go to the places you went as a single where you met tons of people. Now you have to meet marrieds who are members of clubs or service organizations such as church, Community Chorus, Eagles, Moose, Elks, Lions, and the sort. There you are apt to make compatible friends.. Good luck!!

Now that I'm married, we don't go out to bars and parties as much. Been there, done that... now we enjoy each other and enjoy having people over. For us, the party life style is over. It's just not something we need or enjoy anymore. It's still fun once in a while..... but not every weekend. Our single friends are still into that scene. It's called maturity.

I guess because your interests change some and its hard to find someone with the same things going on in life as you are..you have to find someone you can relate your interests too..try going to something like a church group or health club, there's parent classes in almost every city..things like "mommy and me" classes where you can take your kids if you want..

Ain't that the truth. You usually end up associating with your kids' friends' parents, who are usually fried upstairs from all the TV and hype of modern soccer culture.
They think you want to know them, but the only thing you have in common is that you all got laid in roughly the same year.
