Walking on eggshells? As in afraid of making someone else angry? Gosh......that's not good. I can't imagine that would be a good life for anyone.

But once you've seen someone you truly care about get upset about something.........we all tend to want to make sure they never get upset about that again. To walk on eggshells however, makes it seem like this person gets upset at many things and you never really know what it could be or when it could be.

Again......that's not fun.......and I always would suggest telling them straightforwardly how this makes you feel. I would.

As a teacher, I sometimes feel as though I am walking on eggshells, because I know that children are extremely impressionable, and I must set a good example at all times! I can remember many things my teachers said.

When I go out in the dark to get the eggs from my chickens, sometimes they roll out of the chicken house onto the grass and I don't see them with my flashlight.
