Up till what time of the year can I drive on I-90 from Seattle to Missoula without snow tires? My car currently has all-season radials, but it's not 4-wheel drive.

As far as I know, chains & studs are allowed November 1st-April 1st and whether or not they are required depends on the weather. I hope this is helpful. Here is WSDOT's website for winter driving:

Well, if you left right now you might be ok - there could be a snow problem anytime in the next few weeks if not before. Would be a good idea to have chains in case you get caught - or you can mapquest your destination and go another way - might be a better idea this time of year. Good luck! :)
