If it is merely a cracked bone and not a fully broken bone I'd say 4 to 6 weeks to be safe. I don't see Holmgren letting him play before that and risk losing him for the end of the season and possible playoff time.

2 weeks at most. Says he's ready to play this week but may be held out until after the bye week (week 5).
