What's the worst punishment you ever got at school?

Probably being paddled in front of the whole class in 7th grade,

Another time in 5th grade being paddled in front of the class two days in a row..I lost my recess and they called my Mom and she came in and spanked me during recess (everyone found out) and then my dad spanked me at home that night. I had one sore warm bottom after all those spankings.

These were all at elementary school - up to grade seven. I am not proud of these, it's just interesting to relate to someone - it would have been the late sixties.
1. In grade two, I was the most humiliated. You see, halfway through grade one, I was bumped up to grade two because I had done all the grade one work. I was also bored there because I did the work quickly, so I know I talked a lot. The teacher used bookbinding tape (similar to duct tape) on my mouth several days in a row, and one day also bound my ankles to the desk legs.
2. At our Catholic school, if you just were generally bad, a common punishment was to kneel in front of a beautiful statue of Mary near the entrance. I did that many times.
3. For a more serious infraction, I had to kneel in the hallway of the school on raw rice. Hurt like crazy. Now my dad was the Director of Education, and just happened to do a school visit on one noon hour when I was kneeling. So I got it at home too.
4. Once I hit grade 5 was the first time I got the strap on the hands. That was for hanging around with the wrong crowd.
5. In grade 7, got the strap again for fooling around inside the school when everyone else was outside cleaning up the schoolyard of debris. One of my friends had sat on a sink in the bathroom and it broke off the wall.
So, each of these was the "worst" in its own way. I was never a really bad kid - just too smart for my own good, always an honours student, talked too much, etc. I became a teacher, wife and mom. Thanks for letting me journal this all out - Answers is good therapy sometimes!!!

I got trash detail (it wasn't that bad) and I was suspended for three days. They were the worst days of my life. It was so ridiculous. I didn't go to school but my principal saw my boyfriend and I going to go get on birth control. He was going with me for support. I had a note from the school nurse and a note from my parents and still got suspended. I could not believe it! My dad didn't know about me going and I ended up learning how to scrub floors with a toothbrush. I did it the whole time I was suspended.

I stand by the fact that I was a good kid with a bad image. I'm an adult now and I still do not agree with some of my high school's policies. I was very misunderstood. I also skipped school A LOT and that was all my fault. Surprisingly I didn't get ANY trouble for that! I got in trouble for stupid things.

I went to parochial school and, there was this one nun who'd make you kneel in the corner on split peas in front of the Blessed Mother and pray the rosary!!!! Phew!!! Still break out in a sweat thinking about it.

I got ASD (After School Detention) four years ago in third grade for not doing my homework three nights in a row. (We had a REALLY strict teacher.)

7 swats(paddles to the ***) for three weeks in a row, (7 per day most allowed by law, i went to private school.) and so much detention in 7th grade i had it the fist day of 8th grade and eventually expelled in 8th grade. why ask? what did you do?

thrown in a chair by a cop couse i had to go to the bathroom and they wouldnt let me go so i walked out and the cop threw me in the chair then i got but in aep its a school for bad people i was in there for 30 days
