Sure, but I am sorry to hear that your kid is not doing homework. Have you tried to have him/her do his homework and after that is done have an allowance of time with the Xbox? One should not always award learning with external awards but sometimes taking this away for discipline might get a point across.

As horrible as this situation is, I can certainly relate. As far as getting rid of the toy, your options are eBay, or better yet, try craigslist. At craigslist you just post a free listing, and sell it locally.

Good Luck with your situation, I am sorry to hear that you have to go to this extreme to get your child to do their homework, but frankly, sometimes extreme works.
