My 2 yr old son will only watch movies with real kids and babies in them, I need ideas. Most people said, The little Rascals, Harriet the spy, Matilda, The Indian in the Cupboard, Jumanji(which is a good one) The princess bride, Air bud, and 101 Dalmations(also good) but he likes Zathura and cat in the hat. Anymore ideas, no bad language or inappropriate things. Im trying to find new ones cause theres things in Cat and the Hat I dont like, and plus he needs more variety and such. Thankyou!

If you have a public library near your residence, go there. They have many movies that he will enjoy. Character counts is a good one. And if he likes barney there are plenty of kids on his shows. The 10 th annivesary of barney has about 20 kids singing playing and having fun. Barney adventure island is also a good one.
The teletubbies have lil kids also. But I still say check your local library. They usually have the best material. The puzzel place is interesting to most kids. hope it helped...

Ducktales, my daughter used to love Ducktales, Chip and Dale (the cartoon, not Chippendales.loll) Disney, in general is allright. I guess the thing is to let him view shows that will not give him nightmares or get him so worked up that he can't sleep. The important thing is also to make him understand early that they are just movies and that it's not real (for the most part). Tata!

ohhhh, he's 2. that changes everything.
beethoven (any of the many)
mouse hunt
home alone
will he watch the muppets? there are a lot of muppet movies, muppet treasure island is my favorite.
does he need variety, or do you? keep in mind 2-yr olds love to watch and do things over and over and over (until we are ready to go insane) and then maybe 10 more times. and that is ok for them. it is how they learn.
will he watch baby einstein videos? not live action, but toddlers love them. richard scarry is also wonderful for that age.

There is an old Disney movie that my kids loved it stars Mickey Rooney and Helen Reddy ( if you can imagine!) and an animated dragon...Pete's Dragon is the name...lots of singing and dancing and kids running about ...I have to say I actually enjoyed it myself, although after watching it repeatedly I did want to beat my head off of a wall..lol.

Why is your 2 yr old son watching TV already? Be a real parent and give him some natural stimulation... you're already training him to be a couch potato.
