the U.S. could easly take over the worl. no one's stoping us. so dont believe " bush is facish" or the government wants oil. I believe all this would not happen if we'd just invest in nuclear enery. and temporaly store nuclear waist till we find a full proof way to get rid of it.

Nothing wrong with freeing the Iraqis & Kurds- many are thankful. But on the whole, things are worse off for the country now than before when Saddam was running things. Basic services like electricity and sanitation still haven't been restored to pre-war levels, and the rate at which civilians (especially children) are dying now in bombings and shootings is higher than in Saddam's era. As a result of the US coalition invading, foreign fighters have been pouring into Iraq, and terrorist groups like Al-Qaida have been recruiting like crazy.

A recent UN report even claims torture is worse now than before (because more groups are involved- Sunnis, Shiites, Iraqi police, militias, even accusations against US troops)

So we got rid of a terrible dictator but wrecked the country, sacrificed any degree of security the citizens had to accomplish this goal...

A question is asked. An answer is to be given.
1) the lies told to get there.
2) the number of deaths total
3) there are other worse things happening in the world then Hussein.
4)we don't have the troops to take control of a sand box, how would we control the world. Do we restart the draft.
5)Putting China (the country that we owe our national debt to) on a side other then ours.
6) going against the grain of every other country in the would (excluding the uk) and the effects this will cause in the long haul.
7) Cause and effect of being in a place that we are not wanted.
The list can go on but that should be a start to answer the question. Yep spell check works try it.

Well first let me say that people might take your beliefs more seriously if you could state them coherently. Ever here of spell check? As for the US taking over the world......... here's a thought instead of trying to fix other countries "for their own good" why don't you pull back and fix your own society first. I mean come on, poverty levels are crazy, crime is nuts, health care is for the rich obesity is at an all time high of apporox. 50% and there are people in New Orleans that almost a year and a half after Katrina still have no place to live.

I am all for taking an active interest in another countries well being if they request it and you can help, but maybe you should set your own house straight before trying to "fix" (and I use that term loosely ) foreign countries.

I think it is honorable to free them. The problem is they aren't educated and capable of governing themselves. They have to go a long way before this can happen.
As far as the oil is concerned. The french and Germans use so much oil that the only way from going bankrupt is to sell the Iraquis the only thing they want. War techknowlogy.

We did the right thing to get Saddam out of office, and also to attract all the terrorists there so we would not have to fight them here. It is just too bad that Mr. Bush's political opponents are not honest enough to admit that he has done such a good job, and try to smear his name and defame his legacy in the eyes of the American people.

And let's store all our radioactive wastes in Iraq!

Nothing wrong with it at all - the world is better off without Saddam, and the war is NOT about oil, it's about freedom.

Very good. Finally someone else gets it.

Sadaam Himself was a WMD. SO the president was right.
