this is a very good question. The USA should follow maoney trails and cut off their suppliers, but I guess the New York Times took care of that option by telling Osama what the US is doing to save innocent civilians. Terrorists don't just pop out of the ground. They need funding.

lol ....for one thing, quit buying into the hype that terrorists are running around all over the place and quit being scared .... then we just need some adequet system of checking people coming into the country ..... let me tell you alittle secret .... bombing the crapp out of other countries and taking over their oil doesnt fight terrorism ... anyone can be a terrorist and its no more a threat now than it has ever been .... the fact of the matter is that the whole "terrorist" thing is a tool used by the govt to achieve political and imperial objectives .... any large scale attacks such as 9/11 are far to complex for a "terrorist" to accomplish and you need to look to govts and secret services to find out the actual perpetrators ...camel jockeys dont have that kind of capability and intelligence to plan somthing so complex .... so, the best solution to terrorism? arm everyone in the population .... the big mean ol' terrorists wont get too far with their box cutters next time.

Liberals have offered no solutions because they think that the way to win is stand against Bush. The solution that they have is
1. appeasement with the UN DOES NOT WORK
2. ignore the problem DOES NOT WORK
3. Focus on a person's rights and not to hurt their feelings by racially profiling muslim males. DOES NOT WORK
You can look at just about everything Clinton did on this matter and see it is a failure. It is Monday morning quarterbacking, but there are a lot of people who would do what he did today. That is the real problem. What is done is done. We need to learn from it, not to post blame, but to not repeat it.

first... have everyone read the 9-11 report... maybe you already have...
second... go after the people in the 9-11 report... full tilt... no mercy... not a handfull of troops in Afghanistan and the majority in a country that had nothing to do with why the war on terror was started...
take the battle to the leaders of terror, instead of waiting on a footsoldier to blow himself up in Iraq... they have an unlimited supply of footsoldiers...
we can't be afraid of Pakistan... we can't be afriad of Saudi... or Iran...

Simple, mind our own damn business. Should the current Administration cease its need to preach and manipulate other people and their chosen ways of life, they might just stop wanting to kill us.
Think about it, the US stops being a hypocritical, preaching, overbearing and zealous entity, everyone else on the Planet just might not think we are a bunch of assholes.

first - we need to get off forgin oil!! - that will make it so that we arn't skrewing the middle east over
second-- make forgin allies, not shove other nations away, that will increase cooperation to stop terrorism spreading.
third- decrease national debt, creat more money for forgin aid. the idea is to make friends abrod
