I'm 17, and I go for fun, but only later in the evening so the real little kids have all been and gone, and whatever candy is left at houses isn't going to be "stolen" from the younger hunters. After 9:30, the sugar is MINE! Plus, it's a bit of a group thing.

I say the cutoff age is the two: a)whenever you get too "previous" for that style of undertaking (around an identical time you provide up believing in Santa & the Easter Bunny & the the the teeth Fairy & all that) *or* b)every time the only reason you like to bypass trick-or-treating is largely to laugh at/torment/scouse borrow candy from the greater youthful kiddies or vandalize friends' residences.

Well if your uncomfortable then it may be hard to go. I hope you go, as you WILL be with your friends. That's what is important - time with friends, you can grow up later. Have fun - jeez (see I'm OLD) your only 14 - get out there and make a memory!
Basically: YOU ARE NOT OLD! GO!!

My cutoff was so long ago in history, I can't remember!

Enjoy your night!
Again - MAKE A MEMORY!

I think it completely depends on the individual. Let the kids make that choice and if its about you I say enjoy it if you want. Life should be filled with simple pleasures and a bit of childish delight at any age keeps you youthful a bit longer.

i when out every year until i was 17. i dont think your ever to old to go out for halloween. just be prepared to get less candy and junk as you get older because alot of people look down on teenagers who go trick or treating.

14 doesnt sound like too old. my mom hates when these huge guys who look like men and dont even bother to buy a cheap mask come to the door. u should stop going out when u feel like it ^^ im just going to have a party this year and watch scary movie marathons haha~

ps: im 16 btw

well i don't believe there really is such thing as too old. however, you can't really expect an old man trick or treating. i'm 24 and gonna try trick or treating with the sisters and nephew. maybe.
