since its the only country that sells guns to anyone, the police should protect the students?

we already do. it's called school police. I live in Las Vegas and we have School police and security cameras that are connected to a remote feed that is views during school hours. But maybe that's just here. I hope that when my kids start school, which isn't that far away, that they will have implemented the use of metal detectors. Especially since this morning a young boy was stabbed by another in the school parking lot by a knife he was carrying in his back pack.

You know unfortunately since Columbine there have been a lot of copycats out there. I really think that there should be someone patrolling our school.

No that's pointless.Studies show that school violence is going down.And even if it wasn't,school shootings are extremely rare.
