I have Sims 2 and University on PC. When i open the cheat window, "motherlode" works but "maxMotive" and "boolprop testingcheatsenabled true" won't work. Am I typing them in wrong? I want to max out my skills, any ideas?

*Waves* Hello, I'm not certain about maxMotive {I don't use that} however here's a good link [Scoobsnheather's] for 'boolprop'. You can also ask at this site about the other cheat.

Motherlode doesn't need to be further prompted, that's why it works.
Maxmotives (with an S) is a cheat that comes with NIGHTLIFE. The earlier games don't have it.
maxMotives: Sets all needs for all playable sims on the lot to full.
Boolprop codes only set up the game for programmers to do debugging. Boolprop does not actually do anything by itself. You have to do other keyboard magic to get boolprop to do other stuff for you. Boolprop is programmer debugging code so heed this well... it is dangerous for someone to use if they do not know what they are doing. It can screw up your game and make your favorite family unplayable. It should never be left turned on.
If you just want your sims to be happy and to max all their skills, it's safer for you to download the Multipainting and just use that. It will not be debugging your game in the background and causing parts of it to crash.

I put one on several commercial lots just in case a sim is dangerously close aspiration failure!
