i am an ex- technician and current service advisor for a Chevy-Pontiac-Buick dealer. you may have a bad abs motor or solenoid it the pump. it may have stuck on your panic stop. could be a bad wheel speed sensor. they sometimes just run and fail tests in the abs system when the abs system is activating. you should have it checked by a reputable service center, not just a free
auto-zone type scan.

It is not clear. Did the light stay on? If so, go get the brakes checked.
If it came on when you slammed on the brakes and then went out, then it was just telling you that it operated to help you avoid a skid. Good for you!
;-D There is no ABS system on my scooter! Darn.

if your abs and traction control warning light come on,there is a problem int he system.you need to have a technician hook up a scan tool to your vehicle and it will show a code.this code will indicate what part is not working.once repair is fix and code is clear,it will turn off the warning light.

If you brakes are working well, just drive it for a while. The light will probably go out. IF the braking isn't up to snuff, take it to a repairman. Pops

You have a bad ABS wheel sensor or ABS pump or pump body. Get ready to roll out some real dough to get it repaired.
