Peronsally country, because I love country music. And some of the songs are really uplifting and have a great beat. It's just a nice way to start off the day in my opinion.
But really, your question is a matter of opinion. Maybe I would choose something that I really DIDN'T like, because that's what got me out of bed. Because if you wake up to a song that you like, then it kind of ruins that song, because it reminds you of having to wake up. I don't know, I've just learned that from experience. It just depends on the person. Maybe I'm weird.

I like rock, quickly pop,because classical and piano are too slow, could not wake me up, may be make me more sleepy

I wake up to a rock station every single day. It's not always a song that is playing, but that's what I wake up to.

I would wake up to techno. That music usually imparts a feeling of urgency and suspense in me and not surprisingly seems to be the backbone of a lot of action movie/TV show soundtracks

Currently I am in love with the sound of Eliot Morris. I think I could wake up happy everyday with "Balancing the World" playing on my CD alarm. I also think I could wake up happy with Eloit Morris himself : )

Something like soft Japanese chimes or sweet stringed instruments at a slow tempo with strong bass with birds or other natural sounds in the background.

probably a loud AC/DC song, so rock. it would wake me up right away. or I'd listen to some horrible hilary duff song or something like that, and that would make me turn off my alarm right away ;)
