Hey, if it's what you like, she shouldn't have a problem with it. It's just music, and if she doesn't like it she doesn't have to listen to it. If your worried about pop music ruining your relationship with the person, don't be. If that tuns out to be the case, than ditch her. Even at 18, people can be oblivious to what a friend truly is. Music shouldn't affect things like that though...

Ok, confused- are you downloading music for HER or for YOU?
If for you, get it if you like it.
If for her, it depends. I hate pop-punk, but I love punk. She could be the same. Or, she could SAY she likes punk, and actually be referring to pop-punk, in which case you're getting what she wants. You can't really know if she'll like it unless you've got a good idea of what she likes. Keep in mind though- real punk and "pop-punk" (aka pop-rock, since you can't have pop-punk) are completely different things.

if she likes punk and rock do not download anything having to do with the word pop....lol. that's comin from a rocker...lol....on another note- her being 18 and you being 13 sounds like you're trying to do somethin to make her like you more. just my opinion, be yourself and don't get in trouble for downloading.

Downloading copyrited music is illegal if you didn't know. In almost every situation it is copyrited too
