I'm sorry that I don't explain things very well, but when we washed our dishes when our dishwasher was only about half-way full, it seemed to wash our dishes better. Is this a possibility?

First of all you need to prerinse your dishes. Your dishwasher doesn't have a wash cloth. Clean off as much of the food as possible as soon as the dishes are emptyed. Fill it half full with dishes. It is not ment to pack full of dishes.Your water pressure also has a hand in it. The lower your water pressure the worse the dishes will be cleaned.

It depends. How old is the little guy, and how dirty were the dishes, and what kind of dishwashing cleaner did you use? Common sense might come into play here.

Yes, you shouldn't pack the dishwasher too much. It needs some room to move the water around to each item.

And shop utilising Jet Dry, it does help. you additionally can attempt a diverse detergent.
