Try searching "-Family member here- cultivar" on a search engine. Cutivars are specially bred varieties of plants that have certain desirable traits.
For example, if you had a family member named Bob, you could plant 'Bob' barley (Hordeum vulgare 'Bob'). If you wanted Billy, you could try Lophostemon 'Billy Bunter' or Iris 'Billy Boy'.
In addition, you could try actual flower names, like Black Eyed Susans, Petunias, etc.

Do a simple internet search. Type in "garden plants" then the person's name. If there is one, it should come up within the first 10 to 20 websites that are shown.

Look in any large garden & flower book under the initials of the names you want.
