Hey, I need to factor this quadratic and I don't know how to MARF... can anybody tell me how?

I don't think MARF is a standard acronym in connection with factoring quadratics. Do you have to use this specific technique to factor the quadratic, or will any method do? If the latter, perhaps you can post the quadratic so that someone can help you factor it.

It stands for Multiplication, Adding, Rewriting, Factoring. As to how to do it, I would need to know the problem.

seems like your teacher put an acronym to some trick he/she knows. (So I don't know what MARF is.)

How about the quadratic formula or completing a square? have you learned those yet?
