Take some time and get to know yourself. Its easy, beleive iiit or not, to find good things about yourself. The hard part is finding and facing your faults. If you can do this, and do it honestly, it helps. It gives you a chance to either change or accept them. When you make that choice for yourself, what other people think-do-or say matters less. When opinions of others matter less...you find yourself content with being who you are :0)

i dont know if this goes for you, but alot of peoples insecurities come from the way they looked.
a counsler i had one time took all of my mirriors, except the one in my bathroom, and that was the only one i was aloud to use. I was a wreck, but eventually I got over it and dont stress too much about it anymore. nobody treated me differently, nobody even noticed, that i looked slightly different.

1. stand up straight, sit up straight & hold your head up
2. learn to love yourself one thing at a time
3. stop worrying about what others think of you
i hope that helps. i was once super insecure as a teenager. but, everyone is a little insecure. that is normal.
