Hi,
I want to find out the average salary range for a recent university graduate with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing.
I 've been told $36,000 Cdn. So when I had to state my expected salary for the position in the interview, I always said the range of $36K to 39K Cdn, having done the industry research.
Is it too high?
Someone told me $30,000-39,000 is the range for someone starting out with a degree.
I'm confused. Please help me out.

It realy depends on what venue you go into (Marketing Degrees can be used in various venues), and where you are located. Salaries vary widely.

That sounds about right for just going into the field.
