Another school shooting in Colorado. 1 student died plus the gunman. What is thes world coming to that a school isn't even safe for our children? What needs to be done to stop this from happening?

It was in Bailey,CO today. From what I'm hearing right now it was an older person. Not school age.

My opinion: People need to resume accepting responsiblity for their own problems. It would be nice, also, if kids were taught right and wrong at a young age. I live in the south, and the most antisocial behavior you can imagine is permitted with 'aw, isn't that cute...' or 'he's just a child' if it REALLY isn't cute. No correction, no punishment. It resulted in one of my best friends' sister and her husband being shot by their son, who had had behavior problems all his life and was not corrected at a young age. I don't believe medication helps, because when the meds are withdrawn the personality remains, and the attitude remains.

Let the kids who don't want to be there not go. Send 'em to a watered down labor camp for half a semester and give 'em the opportunity to change their outlook.
Schools must stop freaking out whenever a kid writes about dying or killing
Get rid of about half the school adminstration, especially the 6-digit salaries who've never taught in a K-12 class.

Kids shouldn't have access to guns, in my opinion. And if need be get cops at schools, do what needs to be done. If the parents can't guarantee that their child isn't going to be a danger to another child, then they aren't doing good enough, in my opinion.

school has never been safe, hell no place has ever been safe, people have always been ****ed in the head, and always will be, and unless we elimenated ever possible way to kill someone, it will always happen, and dont go blameing games and music and all that crap, people have killed people for alot longer then games and the liek have been around

i don't feel safe in my school there was a stabbing last year and my school is soo big like 5,000 students and there's lots of gangs around my school
