You really need to see a doctor, you may have a more serious problem sweetie.
You cannot leave something like that any longer, you will be safe at the doctors, take a companion you trust with you. Maybe your Mother or a friend?
I hope you are okay, good luck. Please do not leave it any longer.

Actually, the same thing happened to me when i was about 13 years old. I got a couple of periods and then suddenly i didn't get one for 3 months and i didn't know what to do. i asked my mom and of course she gave me that look but then i swore to her that there was absolutely no way i could be pregnant then she laughed at me and told me its normal. I'm 24 now and a nursing technician so yes it is normal for a woman your age to not be irregular especially within the first year of starting your period. if it persists or your having really strong cramps even though your not having your period then think about birth control because it will help regulate your period and help the cramps, and if u have a acne problem it can help with that. I think you will be fine. there are alot of low dose hormone birth contols available now.

Is very normal, most girls when they get their period at the beginning are not "regular" and you will skip a few months....
Also, is very normal to have some "spotting" if you are not regular...so don't be afraid... is okay. Your body is just learning too! try to keep track of your period in a calendar and mark down when you get your period (start and end) and count the days and after a few months you will see a pattern of about 27 to 30 days.....in a few months it will be second nature to you...smile

What is normal for some is not necessarily normal
for others. My best friend in high school didn't get her
period till she was 17 years old and then it wasn't
every month. She would skip 3-4 months before
having another one. Her Mom took her to the doctor
and he gave her birth-control pills to regulate her
periods. After that, she was fine. Hope this helps.

It's normal. It takes a while for your hormones to even out. Some people get 1 time a month every month. Some people get it more than 1 time a month. Some people don't get it for 3-6 months and then get it really heavy. Don't worry. Think of it as a blessing, cuz your going to get it for 40+ years.

in some cases yes it is, have you been under any type of stress? if you have been then that could be the cause of you missing your period, but then again if you just started it will take time for your body to regulate a scheduale for your period, the first year of it is always a little frustrating. also if you feel that there could be something wrong then i would advise you to check with your OBGYN, and make sure that you are ok.

It is completely normal to have an unusual cycle for the first year or two of menses. If your body hasn't settled into a regular rhythm by a year after your first period, go see your family doctor. You may requires birth control pills (low dose) to regulate your cycle, until it settles into place itself.

Usually when you first start your period it is not regular. Don't freak out. I've heard it said that sometimes it takes 2 years to have a normal 28 day cycle.

It is very much normal! This happens when you have period for the first time. It takes time to regularise. You were a little girl and you just turned into a woman.

Periods can be very irregular for the first couple of years. Don't worry, you will have another one! :) If you exercise a lot sometimes that causes it to stop for a while too. Ask your mom if she knows or ask the doc if you are still concerned
