its the liberal nanny state, they banned alcohol in the 20's, they tried to ban rock and rap in the 80's (thank you mrs. tipper gore, you idiot) and then they ban smoking and now this nonsense.
And though Bloomberg is a Republican, he only switched parties to be able to run for mayor. He's a RINO (republican in name only).

It is not the french fries, nor the government.
It happens more people are avoiding trans-fat of which never leaves the body---causes heart problems, strokes, and of course bad cholestoral.
We need to know the label of what is in the food sold at restaurants.
It would help dieticians, and people concerned with what they eat if labels were put on the food listing the calories, fat, transfat, carbohydrates....etc.
It is not fair to get a box with an emblem and we are supposed to trust that.
I have not ate at McDonalds in about 6 months...I ordered 3 chicken grilled sandwiches for 3 different people and 2 had a very long hair in them.
I about got sick, and I still feel sick every time I think about it.
If the restaurants will not display ingredients on their own about what is inside the brightly labeled box , then we should refuse to buy from them!
Now that it is known they put transfat in their food, I will not eat there again with or without any government interference. Transfat never leaves the body!!!
I would think the way the subject is approached by you, that you are higher than local management, and you are probably in corporate standing.
I do not think a minumum wage earner would express such hostility over french fries nor McDonalds.
I have nothing against the company except for transfat, and the employees need to wear hair nets or was this a teenager joke?
Ha ha..........sorry it was not funny......and I still can not eat there!
So u are saying you have a low paying job---I need to ask for the manager. The hair should never have been found in the food!
To me hair in food is gross!!! I reported it to the Mcdonald chain, NOTHING! I just quit ordering there....period....I did not try to sue, but Damn damage was definetely done.
French Fries!!!! Right, noone has to eat them! Everyone assumes they are safe to eat!!! The transfat causes a clog in the arteries, Is this what happened to Bill Clinton?>? Bill was a health nut, he ran regularly, took care of himself, but stopped at McD on a regular basis??? Heart surgery, Double by-pass or triple???
I guess u want to pinpoint my name out, why, did I hit a thread?
The place is not a good healthy place to eat, and until it makes it self so, I do not see the point!
I do not know about u, but hair in my food makes me Puke. Just the thought of it makes me Puke.
I rarely eat at all these days because of the McDonalds hairs in the food!
By all means keep eating the fries! I never ate the fries anyways,
potatoes are starch, sweet, and I just do not like them, but hey eat to your hearts content!
The fries are fattening and should be labeled as such, and if anyone orders the major coke--that is asking for more fat!!!
Mcdonalds used to be to serve the public, now it is only a franshise serve the most u can in a minute. Someone orders cheese on a burger---give them 1/3 piece for 50 cents extra!
Tell me that is not true, I personally knew 2 people who worked for MD and both had the same story.
If it was not true, then why when I order a fish sandwich the cheese is 1 inch by 1 inch!!! Did not I pay for one entire piece of cheese---------long ago-------Md is finished!!!!!!

It is done in the public's interest. Has nothing to do with communism and is really not even in the same ball park as communism.
Just everyday life in America. If you do not like the laws in New York (or anywhere for that matter), pack up and move somewhere more to your liking.
Simple.

Do you know what communism is?
Equal share for everyone. What does that have to do with French fries?

i wouldn't call it communism, i'd just call it illogical. if they want to ban trans-fats, they might as well ban the entire fast food industry in NY.
