Well, I'm a teacher and I never get on a student's case without a reason. You should talk to your teacher privately and ask what you need to improve. I know that I am always happy when my students come to me and take the initiative to see where they need to improve. I'm always sure to remind the student what he or she does well, also. The best way to get an answer to this question is to go directly to the source. :)

Most teachers are on your case more on your case when they see the most potential. Please don't take it to personally.
And I know words hurt when people talk about you but they are only doing it because they see how special you truly are. You should never let anyone make you change who you truly are. Stand strong and you will see that you will always be victorious in life!

Try to figure out why the teacher is on your case, and the kids, then remove the cause. Look to yourself.
Perhaps you are the problem, but you're definitely the answer.

Hmph, well I say this, don't start acting mean because that's what they want you to do, they're testing you girl. Keep your head up and keep you head in the books and stop worrying about the ignorance that's going on in your school. ;)

I don't know... I got hurt so bad in my last school that I'm terrfied of people coming up and saying "Hi". Just be yourself, I guess. If somebody badmouths you, tell them to F off or if you wanna be nice simply ask them to stop, using the extreme extent of your politeness.

Don't be mean--you'd just be stooping down to their level. Just give them "the look" if they are laughing or making fun of you. Just give them that look like "what the heck is your problem?"
