For women, dark blue suit, with a white or cream blouse, single strand pearl necklace and earrings. Make-up should be simple and conservative. As far as shoes, it is ideal to wear navy or black pumps with pantyhouse. As far as women wearing a pants suit, the jury is still out on that. Depending on the industry (e.g. financial institutions, law firms), some say one should err on the side of caution and wear a skirt suit. However, for younger industries (e.g. online marketing, internet search, etc)- a pants suit may be acceptable.
For men, they can also wear a blue suit (plain or pinstripe) with a white oxford shirt and a conservative tie (usually a dark red) or a simple pattern tie. Also, men should take care that the shoes are shined and buff (please remember to wear dark socks with the shoes) and the shoe color should be black. Also, men should consider getting a men's pedicure prior to the interview. People do pay attention to clean, well-groomed hands.
For men or women:
It is ideal to avoid black because black is seen as something you where to a funeral. However, an alternative color to blue is grey, either charcoal or heather grey.

Depends on the job you are interviewing for. A basic navy suit with white blouse and simple jewelry for the ladies and a dark conservative suit and tie for the men is best for a professional position. For other positions, business casual (nice shirt and khaki pants for men and nice pant suit for women) is good. Make sure shoes match the outfit.....no tennis shoes! And most important, be sure to wear a smile!!!! :)

You have to dress for the job you want. You should wear something smart, comfortable, and conservative. in other words something your grandmother would approve of, or something like that. Be confident but don't look like your trying too hard. A nice blouse or sweater (minimal cleavage) and some nice pants or a skirt below the knee are always nice. nice, clean shoes, and if skirt, you should wear hose.

Very likely a suit and tie if you are a man. If you are a woman, wear a suit - skirt below or at the knee, nice jacket & blouse, and pumps; something with dark colors looks more business-like than something bright and loud. It seems to suggest a more professional look.

Depends on the job you are applying for, but to be safe I would say cover yourself, don't show up in mini skirt (assuming you are female), are they still in style, no jeans. A nice suit always goes over best for office work. Good luck

It depends on the job, but usually something professional and conservative like a navy suit. Females should wear minimum jewelry and make up, no perfume. both genders need to be well groomed, clean fingernails, shoes shined, etc.

A suit and closed shoes, no stilettos and no swaying jewellery which some people might find distracting.
