yes.. he was a carpenter.. so it is said, get a small statue of him bury him upside down, respectfully.. in a bag, wrapped (so he does not get cold) in the front of your house, facing your house, say a prayer and he is suppose to bring good fortune on the sale of your house (quicker, good price) i did this and it still took me 9 months to sell.. it all a matter of belief. and hope... there are kits that you can buy for this, go to a chuch supply store.. or buy on line... also, you are suppose to show your respect by digging up the statue when you move and put a place of respect for him in your new house.. if you do not, you will have bad fortune in your new house.. good luck on the sale of your house with or without the statue!

Yes you can bury him, but I buried him 2 months ago and still no luck for me. I believed it would work for about the first month but I given up hope. You can purchase St Joseph Real Estate kit on line for between 5 and 10 dollars comes with everything you need. I think there are just to many houses on the market and not enough buyers so St Joseph just cant do his job.

St. Joseph is the patron saint of carpenters. Carpenters build houses. I have sold 4 houses right after planting St. Joseph. I have given many friends a statue of St. Joseph and they had good luck. Try it ..you don't have to believe in it for it to work. I think it has something to do with turning it over to something higher..letting go..no harm done and you might sell your house. It is an old idea.

Bury a plastic
statue of St. Joseph in the yard, and a successful closing won't be long in the offing. Realtors across the nation swear by this.

Yeah, I bet it's an old superstition - I made a wooden altar to St Joseph instead and put his statue in it: our house sold in about 6 weeks. (I just didn't feel right about burying it - you're supposed to dig him up once the house sells and display it inside in a prominent place.) Good luck.

I lady I work with just told me about that...she said she planted it and prayed to it everyday and she did sell her house in 2 weeks! I believe you also have to dig it back up and display it in your new home

Yes, I have. Our real estate agent told us to do it two years ago when we had to sell our house really fast. I did it and the house sold right away! Can't hurt to try it!! Good luck!

Ewe! Wouldn't he stink by now? How many times has he been buried upside down? Do his feet stick upward? How does his family feel about all this?

leave it to the Catholics to come up with another reason to pray to the deceased in the faith and not go directly to God The Father and ask him in the name of Jesus.
