If he's allowed to play again next year, and I'm sure that he would if he is, then he sould do it after the all star break, but before the end of the season I'm sure. He's only 20 or so away from the record, and he's hit many more than that in a season. I'd say at some point in early September next season.

I hope to God that he doesn't. He doesn't deserve the record, even if he wasn't juiced for all those seasons. Of course he was juiced so he doubly doesn't deserve it. I don't usually root against people trying to break records, but Hank Aaron was a great player and he doesn't deserve to have his record taken away by that disgusting excuse for a human being, Barry Bonds. He's scum.

Never happen, with respect to how the record was/is achieved. Barry couldnt do it with out a little help, its not honorable not deserved.

im pretty confident he could do it next season if he plays which im sure he will. hes only something like 22 out, he could do that easily. hope he does it while playing for the giants!!
