I have a pet turtle, aprox. 4" in length, I am looking for someone to take him off of my hands. I want him to go to a good loving home. If anyone in the Toronto area is intrested in taking my pet turtle, please let me know.

Try the local animal welfare, wildlife rescue, and reptile club or herpetolgical society.

Try flyers at local pet shops, etc.

Word of warning: If this is a Red-ear slider, most adoption groups are full and cannot take them unless you pay them to. Just too many of them out there from people who did not think this through.

In fact, a couple turtle adoption groups even discuss the option of euthanasia for some situations. You really cannot release the turtles back to the wild- not only will it almost certainly die, it can easily infect many other wild turtles as well.

Why you do not like turtles. They are cute and cuddle.
How could you want to adopt the turtle.
