how to install tile floor in bath , toilet flange is now 1/2 "to low do I need to raise the flange?

or dbl up on the wax seat , or will the 40% more wax seal work?

I've installed thousands of ssq. ft. of tile, and many toilets. 1/2 inch isn't a major deal, and wax rings are sold with a rubber flange implanted, that certainly is deeper than 1/2 inch.

Go to your local home store. They sell extended wax rings just for this type of problem.
