depends on which continent you live on North America loves its basketball Europe loves its footy. Its all a matter of perspective.

Both are great sports. Soccer is getting more and more recognition each year. However, I prefer a sport with more scoring. Basketball has constant action, teams can go on 15 point scoring runs and yet the other team still has a chance to catch up. I think Basketball is the better sport.

despite soccer players are more athletic than basketball players, at the end of the day, what would u wanna see: players running up and down a field, or a 6 footer dunking all over a 7 footer then yelling in his face? LOL

Basketball is my favorite. Soccer is alright, but it does not interest me as much. The male soccer players have got it going on, though.

Soccer is a great sport!!!!!!! It is challenging and fun!!!! You use your hands in B-ball but, you use your feet to play soccer. You use your hands everyday, many different times but, you only walk on your feet. So why not try something that you don't normally do. (go for soccer!)
