Yes it is legal. Most people use their sick days when they are healthy.

There are no laws about going to work or calling in sick. It is completely up to your employer's attendance policy as far as if that is allowed. Some companies consider more than one day consecutive absence a voluntary termination.

There would be no law against it, so it is not illegal. I don't really think it is unethical either. Being very tired can get you run down. I have felt better able to work when I was ill than when I was extremely tired.

Yes take the time off. If you haven't missed any days the whole year your company shouldn't have no reason to complain about excessive abcenses.

Sure, it's ok. You have to take care of yourself, or you won't be any good at work.
But it is up to your employer, they may think otherwise.
It's best to just make up a "white lie", such as you have a sick child to take care of. If you tell them the truth, they might think you are tired of the JOB, and hold this against you.
It is entirely ethical to take care of oneself.

Ethical? I don't know. It depends on your morals. But a whole year, in my opinion, deserves something. Don't you have some vacation days stored up?
