Some jerk wrote on my car door with a permanent marker ( a sharpie i think). Any advice on how to get it off?

Be careful not to use stuff that will harm the paint.

Look at your Local Auto Parts Store or Wal-mart and there are
numerous products that will solve your dilema.

use WD40 on a rag. Don't worry about using too much WD40, because the wetter your rag is the better it will come off. Good luck and God bless you!

Take good wax and just like Karate Kid.....Wax on...Wax Off
If there is stubborn marks use a rubbing compound first then wax it..

You can try acetone(nail polish remover).
But if that doesn't work there isn't much more you can do besides strip the paint and/or paint over it.

try any of the tar remover solvents for cars.
