I'm going to be traveling to Taiwan and S.Korea soon, and I want to know what are some "things" that Taiwan and S.Korea are known for? I would like to come home with some really cool souvenirs!! I would like some suggestions from people who have traveled to those places and found some cool items ALONG WITH cool places to shop!! PLMK :]

Definitely Jade!! Get the whole set of jewelry, e.g. necklace, earrings, bracelet and ring. Do shop around. Bring someone who speaks the language, or you will pay more than what you're supposed to. I am going to Taiwan myself in 2 weeks. It's my second trip there.
Try their food from the street vendors and bubble tea!!

If you are going to Taichung then buy there moon cakes called taiyanbing there wellknown over taiwan. And if you want to go shoppin in taiwan you can go to Mitshkosi around the Taipei 101 there you will find designer clothes and products. for cheap good clothes and good eats go to ximingding in taipei this is where all the youth of taipei hang out just get off of the mrt at ximen and your in ximingding. In ximingding you can find tons of clothes and jewelry basically anthing young people wear and love.
